Our Quality Control Process
Step 1: Design Verification
Thoroughly review initial design concepts to ensure feasibility and precision. Our design team collaborates closely with quality experts from the very beginning.
Step 2: Material Inspection
Every material is inspected upon arrival to ensure it meets our strict quality standards for durability, appearance, and performance.
Step 3: Assembly Monitoring
Continuous monitoring during assembly to ensure each part is precisely fitted, maintaining our commitment to craftsmanship.
Step 4: Functional Testing
Each watch undergoes rigorous functional tests, including water resistance, movement accuracy, and durability checks.
Step 5: Aesthetic Inspection
Visual inspection by our experts to ensure flawless finishes and a polished, high-quality look.
Step 6: Final Quality Approval
Final approval by our quality control team before packaging, ensuring every watch meets Romlicen’s high standards.
Our Product Testing Protocols
We perform Multi tests to produce our top-quality and reliable OEM watch.
Appearance & Time Function Test
This test ensures that every watch meets our high standards for appearance and functionality. We meticulously check for scratches, defects, and proper operation of the crown and pushers. Timekeeping accuracy is verified by setting multiple watches simultaneously and comparing the time after 10 minutes to ensure consistency. We also inspect date functionality to confirm it changes accurately.
Vacuum Waterproof Testing
Each watch undergoes vacuum waterproof testing to detect any potential leaks before shipping. Watches are placed in a vacuum environment, and if any indicator column falls, it signals a failed test. This ensures that only fully waterproof watches reach our customers.
Real Water Resistance Test
Watches are submerged in a water-resistant testing machine that simulates real-world conditions. We inject air pressure into the watches, then heat and cool them to check for fog formation under the glass. If fog appears, the watch fails; otherwise, it passes our rigorous water resistance standards.
Leather Strap Zigzag Test
This test simulates everyday wear by twisting the leather strap back and forth at 15-60 cycles per minute under a 3-5 kg load. The strap is subjected to 3000 cycles for leather and 5000 for metal to evaluate durability, ensuring no damage, stretching, or deformation occurs.
Leather Strap Bending Durability Test
Straps are repeatedly bent at a 180-degree angle under controlled speed and cycles to assess their durability. We inspect for cracks, peeling, breaks, and other signs of wear. Only straps that maintain their integrity through these stress tests are approved.
Leather Band Abrasion Resistance Test
This test measures the strap’s resistance to wear and fading by applying friction under high temperatures (40±2°C). We also simulate sweat exposure for 24 hours to check for discoloration or corrosion, ensuring the strap maintains its appearance and strength.
Watch Shaking & Waver Test
Simulating the natural movement of a wearer’s arm, this test checks the watch’s structural reliability and timekeeping accuracy. It also includes a buckle test where clasps are repeatedly opened and closed to ensure they remain functional and secure under stress.
Strap Pull and Push Test
This test evaluates the tensile strength of the strap and spring bars by stretching and compressing them to simulate normal and emergency conditions. It ensures the watch stays securely attached to the strap, even under strenuous scenarios.
High & Low Temperature Test
Watches are tested at extreme temperatures ranging from -20°C to 70°C to evaluate performance and durability. They must maintain proper function, and no significant changes should occur to pass the test, ensuring reliability in various climates.
Salt Spray Test
This test exposes metal surfaces and plating to a salt spray environment to assess corrosion resistance. The watch is visually inspected, and an adhesive tape test is performed to ensure the plating remains intact, confirming its resistance to sweat and environmental factors.
Movement Timing Precision Test
Each watch movement is tested for timekeeping precision to ensure it operates within the specified range. This guarantees that our watches not only look good but also provide reliable and accurate performance.
